Hat Search
Kai has a red hat. He likes his hat very much. One day, Kai cannot find his hat. “Where is my hat?” he asks. He looks in his room. He looks under his bed. He looks in his toy box. No hat! He looks on his desk. He looks in his bag. No hat! Kai is sad. He goes to the kitchen. He asks his mom, “Have you seen my red hat?” Mom says, “No, I have not seen your hat.” Kai goes to the living room. He asks his dad, “Have you seen my red hat?” Dad says, “No, I have not seen your hat.” Kai looks behind the sofa. He looks under the table. No hat! Then Kai hears a sound. “Woof! Woof!” It is his dog, Max. Max is in the garden. Kai goes to the garden. He sees Max. Max has something in his mouth. It is red. It is Kai’s hat! “Max! That is my hat!” says Kai. Max gives the hat to Kai. Kai is happy. He pats Max and says, “Good dog.” Kai puts on his red hat and smiles.
