Farm Life
Mr. Brown had a farm with many animals. There were cows, chickens, and pigs. But his favorite animal was his horse named Thunder. Thunder was a beautiful brown horse with a white spot on his head. Every morning, Mr. Brown would wake up early to feed Thunder. The horse would eat hay and apples, which were his favorite food.
Thunder worked hard on the farm. He helped Mr. Brown pull the cart to market every Saturday. The other animals liked Thunder because he was kind and strong. Children from the nearby town often came to see Thunder and sometimes Mr. Brown let them ride him.
One day, Mr. Brown noticed that Thunder seemed sad. He wasn’t eating his food and didn’t want to run in the field. Mr. Brown was worried about his friend. He called the animal doctor to come and check Thunder. The doctor said Thunder was just tired and needed rest. Mr. Brown decided to let Thunder have a week off from work.

Horse Dreams
At night, Thunder had strange dreams. In his dreams, he could fly high above the farm. He would spread his legs like wings and soar through the clouds. The feeling was amazing! Thunder could see everything from up there – the green fields, the blue river, and the small town.
Every night, the dream felt more real. Thunder started to believe that maybe he really could fly. During the day, he would look at the sky and think about his dreams. The other animals noticed that Thunder was acting different. The old pig asked him what was wrong, but Thunder didn’t tell anyone about his dreams.
Mr. Brown also saw that Thunder was looking at the sky a lot. He thought his horse just liked to watch the birds. But Thunder was planning something. He wanted to try flying for real. He thought that if he could run very fast and then jump from the top of the hill, maybe he would fly like in his dreams.
Sky Adventure
One sunny morning, when Mr. Brown was in the house, Thunder ran to the biggest hill on the farm. His heart was beating fast. He was a little scared but also excited. He started running as fast as he could toward the edge of the hill.
Just when Thunder was about to jump, Mr. Brown saw him and shouted, “Thunder, stop!” But it was too late. Thunder jumped off the hill. For a moment, he felt like he was flying, just like in his dreams. The wind was in his mane, and he could see the whole farm below him.
But then, something magical happened. Thunder didn’t fall. He was really flying! Mr. Brown couldn’t believe his eyes. The other animals ran out to see. They all watched as Thunder flew in circles above the farm.
From that day on, Thunder became known as the magic horse who could fly. People came from far away to see him. And Mr. Brown was very proud of his special friend.
